Aquatope mainly revolves around two characters, Fuuka Miyazawa a failed idol who ran away to Okinawa and Kukuru Misakino the granddaughter of an aquarium owner , as they try and figure out how to keep the Gama Gama Aquarium from closing down.
This series should be a great comfort food anime for people looking for that this Spring.
We've seen that to a degree with every new season of the franchise, but this time feels like its character development has much more of an impact on the show's world in general.
