It helps the participants to transform themselves into holistically developed individual human being.
The aim of education is to develop the human faculty.
What does the programme consist of? It is a massive opportunity to help others and spend time doing something that benefits other people.

Skills Your skill could be anything — pick up an instrument, sport or creative skill and show how you have practised and improved — and could be something you already do at school, or something you wish to take up.
Please note: The sign-on fee of £22 and is non-refundable but the rest of the cost will be refunded if you drop out before any of the expeditions.
What is the Duke of Edinburgh's Award? Guidance updated 23rd December 2021 Guidance issued by the Scottish Government allows DofE Expeditions to return to shared tents, with certain recommended precautions.
